Class of 2012
As Ronald Reagan said, ". . . there are simple answers - there just are not easy ones." Business Week published a report in March 2004 that stated that for every one percent increase in productivity the American economy sheds 1.3 million jobs. By the close of 2004 we increased productivity by four percent and may have eliminated 6.5 million jobs in the process.
The long term consequences of this productivity phenomenon is that by 2012 the accumulated result may be the elimination of over 50 million jobs! Our research reveals other forces that could bring the total jobs missing, to meet the needs for full employment, to over 75 million. This is a problem that needs answers now.
The simple answer is to share the jobs that remain through Organization Replication. Finding ways to do this is goal of our research. Regardless of how difficult it maybe, we must begin finding these answers now, if there are going to be jobs for the Class of 2012.
